Directions: From highway 1 going from North Vancouver to Horseshoe Bay take the Exit for Cypress Bowl (Exit 8). Follow the Cypress Parkway to the Upper Parking Lot which is about 14KM (8.7 miles). Look for a large sign shortly after the turn into the lot. This is where the trail starts. Follow the Baden-Powell trail heading east. The trail climbs through a forest and crosses Cypress Creek. About an hour out there is a fork. Take the left fork which heads uphill. On the left side of the trail a ski road will eventually be visible. On the way one passes the remains of a T-33 aircraft that crashed over 50 years ago. Follow the trail markers past the ski pylons to the South Summit. To reach the North Summit follow the trail north along the ridge between the peaks. On a clear sunny day the North Peak provides spectacular views. The photos below from 2003 and 1995 show parts of the trail and some of the viewpoints. The 2003 photos were taken during cloudy day in November, the 1995 photos show the views on a sunny day.
